匹夫 An Inaccurate Memoir
Good show, Especially if you like bandits and gangsters in the past. Realistic action scenes and has a sprinkle of war history on it.
The Amazing Spiderman
Woohoo Andrew Garfield! Along with Emma Stone. Must-watch.
Rock of Ages
Good music and flashy performances, the only thing I was bored with was the casting and the storyline. Basically a rock version of Glee. Hate the cheesy relationship of the two protagonists.
Excision
I, myself, love creepy weird movies, so I’d say to watch this only if you like psychological thrillers or if mentally unstable weirdos fascinate you. This is about a girl who has a fetish for blood, but at the same time is soft on the inside, having a big heart for her younger sister.
A Dangerous Method
Keira Knightley, Viggo Mortensen and Mike Fassbender, another psychological thriller show about a doctor having an affair with his psychotic patient. Thought Knightley’s acting in this was not bad but the entire movie’s too slow moving for me. Don’t watch this.
Eden
Jamie Chung, aka Mulan from Once Upon a Time! Loved this movie, you have to watch it. Girl gets kidnapped and sent to a factory storage space where she’s turned into a prostitute. I like the whole void feel of the movie and the falling in love with your druggie boss who’s bad-ass and doesn’t give a fuck about anything part; it’s kinda romantic ahahha.
The Lucky One
Omg Nicholas Sparks, stop stabbing at the pretentious space of my mind (bad metaphor). Filmography, casting, feel-good events, Nicholas Sparks has his way of making life seem so perfect and magical which is disgusting but adoring. Zac Efron!
Dark Shadows
Wow Tim Burton, you’re getting worse and worse. Bad movie, bad graphics, bad storyline. The only good thing is the casting (Johnny Depp, Helena Carter, Chloe Moretz) and the costumes. Don’t think you should bother watching this.
Salmon Fishing in the Yemen
Hahahha weird movie, watched this just because of McGregor. Please don’t waste your time watching this, it’s so dumb I can’t.

7th - 9th October ‘12
Just here to record the story so far. Touched down to London airport, picked up by Uncle John. Chlo, Chan, Aunt Els’ house were damn pretty like minimalistic english home but a little chinese tea spilt on it. Romeo’s their adorable fluffy Bordie Collie dog who can do a number of cute tricks and who always wants to play tug with you.
So after we unpacked, we had fish ‘n’ chips (lol at typical London tourist food) and Tyn and I went for a house party with Chloe and Chanelle. Omfg the people there were gooorgeous like facial hair and shit ugh dying and the Ireland accent omg so adorable. But had quite a hard time socializing and felt so swamped after a whole bottle of Jacob Creek Merlot and being jetlagged. Then got home at 3+ woo.
The next day we went grocery shopping at Waitrose (like Singapore’s Fairprice / Coldstorage) yay! The Waitrose packaging were kinda pretty, like reasonable for supermarket-manufactured products and they’ve a huge variety of stuff. *__* Especially the vegetables omggg.
Had lunch which was like couscous, wild rockets, salmon, coleslaw, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon pâté, olives, honey & mustard dressing all from the supermarket solely and they were at a reasonable price ugh. And while I was staying at their house, I’d English Breakfast Tea everyday so lovelyyy.
Watched three movies with Chloe after lunch, Excision, Dangerous Method and Eden. Cozy, lazy sunday. Home-made chinese food after that!
The third day which was a monday and when Chloe had to go to work, we went sightseeing with Chanelle which was so boring ugh hate sightseeing. Blablabla.
10th - 12th October ‘12
Took a train ride to Paris! Got so lost at the station then finally MRTed to our damn tiny hotel. French people are beauuutiful. They all look so classy and rich, even though the buildings and ambience isn’t what I expected it to be. :( It’s really hazy and dirty and not magical at all. On the first day we just shopped and look at more boring buildings.
All of the French people who served us were so handsoooome omg (the more suave ones were on the streets). The Botega Veneta store guy who was slightly balding, the waiter from the Lateral Cafe unff (all with facial hair included).
Going to a musee tomorrow and the Luxembourg Gardens and maybe the Notredame tomorrow. Also prolly gonna cycle through the gardens omg perfff. *__*
